Specialist Learning at St Mary’s
At St Mary’s, we are proud to offer a diverse and engaging Specialist Program that supports the whole child. Our specialist classes provide students with rich opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and experience success in a range of learning areas.
Each week, students participate in Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Permaculture, where they build creativity, confidence, teamwork, and a connection to the world around them. These learning experiences encourage students to express themselves, think creatively, work collaboratively, and develop healthy, active lifestyles.
At St Mary’s, we also value inclusion, communication, and understanding of others. Our language program is Auslan, which supports students to develop empathy, respect, and awareness of diverse ways people communicate. Learning Auslan strengthens students’ connection to community and reinforces our belief that Everyone Matters.
