Our Parish Partnership
St Mary’s Primary School is proud to be part of the Westernport Parish community. Our parish church is Immaculate Conception Church in Hastings, and we work closely in partnership with the other Catholic schools within the parish to nurture faith, learning and community connections.
The schools within the Westernport Parish are:
- St Mary’s Primary School, Hastings
- St Brendan’s Primary School, Somerville
- St Joseph’s Primary School, Crib Point
Together, our schools share many opportunities for students to grow in faith and community. Throughout the year, we come together to celebrate the sacraments, participate in junior and senior parish sports days, and undertake social justice initiatives that support those in need within our local and wider communities.
Padua College – Tyabb Campus also plays a fundamental role in this partnership, providing opportunities for collaboration, transition and shared faith experiences for our students as they continue their educational journey.
Our strong parish partnership helps foster a sense of belonging, strengthens relationships across our Catholic community, and provides rich opportunities for students to live out the Gospel values of faith, service and compassion.
